  1. A referral arrives

    From your doctor directly, or started online by you. We email you to welcome you and confirm your first visit.

  2. A real medical assessment

    History, labs, and your metabolic picture. You leave with an explanation, not an assignment.

  3. Your individual plan

    Nutrition, sleep, activity, and — where appropriate — medication. Education woven into your visits and your portal modules.

  4. Follow-up that continues

    Ongoing physician oversight and honest measurement — with reports back to your family doctor.

GOALS was founded by Dr. Marcello Schmidt, MD, MSc, FRCPC — Royal College specialist in Internal Medicine and Critical Care, and Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

He leads a five-clinician team who treat obesity the way medicine treats any chronic condition — with evidence, follow-up, and respect.
